The Client
YudyDeal is an Indian direct-to-consumer brand selling custom and protective phone cases — combining print-on-demand personalization with drop-tested, military-grade protection, and a promise of 24-hour dispatch.
The Problem
The product demands things a template store cannot do well: shoppers need to pick their exact device, upload a photo and see it become a case, and check out the way India actually pays — COD and UPI included. Off-the-shelf page-builders bolt these on with heavy apps that slow the store to a crawl on mobile, exactly where the sales are. The brand needed custom code, not another plugin stack.
What We Built
A custom-coded Next.js commerce app where the customizer and the checkout are first-class, not add-ons.
Device & Brand Selector
Browse by brand (iPhone, Samsung, OnePlus, Pixel) and pick the exact model so every case fits — no guesswork, fewer returns.
Live Photo Customizer
“Any photo, any case” — a photo-upload and text customization flow backed by a Cloudinary media pipeline for fast, reliable image handling.
India-First Checkout
COD, UPI, and cards, with a free-shipping-over-₹499 threshold and a no-questions 7-day return policy to lower purchase risk.
Full Store Surface
Wishlist, cart, accounts, today’s-offer and trending collections, and help pages (shipping, returns, FAQ) — a complete storefront, custom-built.
The Stack
Built as a modern React application on Next.js — a code-first store rather than a page-builder — with Cloudinary handling the customization media and an India-tuned checkout.
- Frontend
- Next.js · React
- Media
- Cloudinary image pipeline for customization
- Commerce

- Storefronts

The Outcome
YudyDeal runs on a fast, custom-coded store it fully owns — with a real photo customizer and India-first checkout built into the code, not stapled on through apps — giving it room to scale without the page-builder tax on mobile conversion.
